2014 Annual General Meeting

The AAG-C‘s 2014 Annual General Meeting was held on 11 December and the positions of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer on the management committee were filled. 2013 Annual General Meeting

The AAG-C‘s 2013 Annual General Meeting was held on 21 November and the positions of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer on the management committee were refilled without contest. Current officeholders are listed on the Contact Us page.

2013 Social Networking Function

The AAG-C‘s Committee invites all members to attend our 2013 social networking function.

Venue:  Cairns Aviation Skills Centre, 1 Tom McDonald Drive – ample parking across the road
Date:  Thursday 17 October 2013, from 4.30pm till 6.30pm
Cost:  Free to members – wine, beer, soft drinks and canapés will be supplied

2011 Annual General Meeting

The AAG-C‘s 2011 Annual General Meeting was held on 12 October and the positions of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer on the management committee were filled. Current officeholders are listed on the Contact Us page.

2011 Annual General Meeting – Notice to members from the AAG-C’s Vice Chairman

Dear Members,

Due to competing work schedules, the AAG-C’s AGM has been rescheduled to Wednesday the 12th of October 2011 so that all committee members can attend. The AGM will commence at 4.30pm and conclude at 7pm at the Cairns Aviation Skills Centre (CASC). Following the AGM, light refreshments will be served.

Our Chairman Murray Ireland, because of his current work commitments, will not be seeking re-election to this position. Murray in his many roles has contributed his valuable time and effort and the AAG-C will miss his involvement as Chair. Murray has indicated his possible interest in chairing the AAG-C again after a 12 month break.

Also I would like to thank Gareth Davey for the enormous amount of hard work and time he has dedicated to many projects including our website upgrade. Due to his increasing business activities taking him away from Cairns, Gareth too will not be seeking re-election to the position of Membership & Business Promotion.

Treasurer Scott Griffin and Secretary Julie Binning as well have contributed an enormous amount of time and effort to make the organisation an effective aviation lobby tool. Julie has resigned as Secretary due to her ongoing work commitments and again we thank her for her efforts.

Any members interested in nominating for the positions of Chairman or Membership & Business Promotion on the AAG-C committee can collect the appropriate form from Roxanne at the CASC reception desk.

See you at the AGM on the 12th.

Member Login password

Financial members (new and renewing) can obtain their password for the Members’ Login section of the AAG-C website by contacting the Website Coordinator. Members are asked to keep their password confidential. The Website Coordinator may change passwords during the year to maintain security.

2010-11 Membership Fees confirmed

Annual AAG-C membership fees were confirmed at the 30 September AGM as $100 for a single-person business and $250 for a multi-person business (both are GST-free). Membership runs for 1 year from the month of joining.
