Hawker Pacific is the market leader in integrated civil and military aerospace sales and product support in Australasia. The company maintains facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Townsville, Cairns and Auckland as well as in South-East Asia and the Middle East.
The launch of the Hawker Pacific facility in June, 2005 at Cairns International Airport changed the face of the aviation maintenance sector in Australia, Asia and the South Pacific region.
The multi-million dollar, cutting-edge service centre has boosted the aviation maintenance repair and overhaul capabilities in Tropical North Queensland, placing the region squarely on the world stage as a leader in aviation.
The facility is headquarters to Hawker Pacific’s subsidiary, Australian Avionics, one of the world’s leading avionics supply, repair and installation companies.
Combined with Hawker Pacific’s design engineering, special mission modifications and maintenance repair and overhaul skills, this facility is truly a centre for aviation excellence.
The company provides an integrated avionics and mechanical workshop under one roof. With a reputation for delivering impeccable world-class service throughout Australia, South-East Asia and the Pacific rim, Hawker Pacific is one of the key aviation industry operators in the southern hemisphere.
The centre has the capacity to accommodate a wide range of passenger jets, up to and including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s. In addition, the taxiways enable the facility to provide line maintenance and overnight check support for larger Boeing 767 and Airbus A330 aircraft.
Hawker Pacific is renowned for its award winning, VIP Ground Handling operation at Sydney airport and this world-class service is now available in Cairns with the new ‘FBO Flight Centre’.
